The classic martini garnishes may be a lemon twist or olives, but cucumber has long been a cooling companion for gin cocktails, and here matches beautifully with the cooling tones of the yuzu sake.
Ingredients
- 1½ oz Niizawa Brewery Hojun Yuzu Sake
- 1½ oz gin, one on the softer/floral side (we used Hendrick's)
- sliced cucumber, for garnish
Preparation
- Combine the sake and gin a cocktail shaker with ice. Stir with a spoon until very cold.
- Strain into a coupe and garnish with cucumber.
