Solstice Vermouth

Batch 2023

Crafted from white hybrid grapes and heirloom plums. Full skin-contact and partial stem inclusion yield angular structure, while a blend of heirloom local plum varieties brings concentrated acidity. Rose hips, sumac, and dandelion leaf speak to summer in the mountains. Wormwood and tulsi basil add herbal bitterness on the finish.

Deeper Dive

Our vision for the 2023 vintage of Solstice was manifold. In this vintage, we aimed for a leaner vermouth, shifting the focus from sweetness to bitterness. The result was a focused, assertive vermouth with powerful concentration and complexity.

Floral gins, rye whiskey, or just a large ice cube.

A great stand-in for Campari or other red aperitivi. Consider a Negroni or Boulevardier, or use as a sweet vermouth for a more angular, fruity riff.
