The Bundle we Run to you

The Rundle bundles our weekly CSA with your choice of a bottle of wine or cocktail item. Each week, you receive an email write up of the Rundle item in your box, with tips on how to enjoy it. Plus, you’ll get a weekly $10 credit to our online Marketplace.

About the CSA

What is a CSA?

CSA stands for “Community Supported Agriculture.”  A CSA is an arrangement in which individuals pay for a regular share of the products produced by a farm.  CSAs come in many forms, but the end goal is always to connect directly with farmers and the local foodweb.

What to Expect in a Share

A weekly box of vegetables and occasional fruit (typically 6-8 items).  Each box is intended to be enough for 3-5 people for one week.

A typical CSA Box may LOOK LIKE:

  • SPRING: sugar snap peas, salad greens, spring garlic, beets, radishes, lettuce, nasturtiums, strawberries.
  • SUMMER: eggplant, peppers, melons, rainbow chard, garlic scapes, tomatoes, zucchini, peaches.
  • AUTUMN: butternut squash, beets, sweet potatoes, tomatillos, hot peppers, pears, kale, baby arugula.
  • WINTER: celeriac, potatoes, cabbage, parsnips, mushrooms, onions, citrus, apples, baby spinach.

    These are just a few examples of what you may receive, but the full seasons have so much variety.  In addition to commonly cultivated vegetables and fruits, we occasionally include native crops (such as dandelion, nettles, chickweed, or wild berries).

    The Home Delivery Experience

    We deliver to your home each week on your delivery day.
    On the morning of your delivery, we will notify you by email with your delivery window. This page is updated throughout the day, so if we get delayed in traffic or something else, the page will be up-to-date, including how many stops away we are to you.
    In order to keep your produce fresh, we ask that you have a cooler with frozen ice packs ready on your porch, garage, or other accessible location.
    We recommend that you move fresh produce into refrigeration within one hour of delivery.
    For most orders, you don't have to be home for us to deliver: just set out your cooler and we'll fill it.  While we maintain no-contact delivery, you must legally be present if your delivery includes alcohol.

    Skip or Donate Any Week

    We want our CSA to work with your schedule, not against it. 

    Skip Any Week

    You can choose to skip any week for any reason, at no charge to you.   Simply log into your CSA account page and choose which weeks you want to skip.  It’s that easy. 

    Or Donate to a Local Foodbank

    Instead of skipping, you can also donate your box any week to a local foodbank.  Simply let us know that you'd like to donate your box and we will donate it for you.

    Weekly Email Newsletter

    Our weekly CSA email includes the following:

    • A list of the items in your box that week
    • Recipes and tips for preparing the vegetables in your box
    • Seasonal themes and occasional local happenings
    • Featured recommendations of local add-ons and wines to broaden your culinary journey

      Local Add-Ons

      Rundle Members get a $10 credit added to their Rundle Balance with each weekly order to be used toward any of the local add-ons in the Marketplace.

      Our online Marketplace is full of local and sustainable grocery goods: meat, eggs, cheese, bread, pantry goods, and extra produce. 

      Shop during the week and we’ll deliver your order with your next CSA box.  No extra delivery fees. No minimums.

      Online Recipe Box

      Every CSA Membership includes free access to our online Recipe Box — a collection of recipes from our kitchen that we've tried, tested, and refined.  The recipe box is searchable, so you can quickly find exactly what you need for ideas for any item in your CSA box each week.

      If the Rundle seems like more than you're wanting to handle, but you still want all the perks of our base CSA, consider signing up for an Artemisia CSA Membership.

      CSA Members can purchase local add-ons—including wines or cocktail ingredients—from the Marketplace at any time for delivery with their next CSA share.
