Translating from Spanish to "dark gold", this cocktail centers around the richness of the moscatel and cognac and the shadows cast by fernet and amaro.

  1. Combine the moscatel, cognac, amaro, and fernet in a shaker over ice and stir until very cold. 
  2. Strain into a coupe and garnish with the lemon twist.
