A cider-based take on an Old Pal. Eden "Bitter" Aperitif stands in for the traditional Campari, and a pickled fig for the lemon rind. A classic cocktail with a less refined edge.
Ingredients
- 1½ oz rye whiskey
- ¾ oz Eden Orleans "Bitter" Aperitif
- ¾ oz Dolin Vermouth Blanc
- Pickled Fig for garnish
Preparation
- Combine the rye, Orleans Bitter, and vermouth in a cocktail shaker over ice. Stir until chilled and strain into a coupe class.
- Garnish with a speared pickled fig.
