We concocted this delightful cocktail for Kelly's late December birthday.  As its name suggests, it tastes like the archetypical childhood birthday cake.  Something magical happens between Ciccio e Figli's Ambrosia and our Salt & Sorghum bitters.  Like all birthday treats, you'll have to try it to find out. 

Ingredients

Preparation

  1. Combine the Ambrosia, gin, Anis Fino/Pastis, bitters, and egg white in a shaker without ice.  Shake hard for about 30 seconds.  
  2. Add ice to the shaker and shake for another 30 seconds or so.  Strain into a coupe glass.  No garnish needed.
