This is not your standard snow day cocktail. Nothing hot, nothing heavy. Just pears, alpine herbs, and a twist of lemon.
Ingredients
- 1½ oz C. Comoz Vermouth Blanc de Chambery
- 1 oz Barr Hill Gin
- ½ oz Pastis
- 1 dash Artemisia Junio Elderflower Bitters
- ⅛ large pear, sliced
- Lemon rind, for garnish
Preparation
- Add the gin and the pear to a shaker and muddle well. Add the ice, vermouth, pastis, and bitters. Shake until very cold.
- Strain into a coupe glass and garnish with the lemon rind.
