Strawberry Ramos Gin Fizz
Kelly AllenBased on the classic Ramos gin fizz, this version gets a pop of brightness from a fresh strawberry and spicy peppercorn syrup. Shake longer than you think you'll need to. Trust us, it's worth it.
Ingredients
- 2 oz gin
- ¾ oz J.T. Copper Roasted Strawberry & Black Peppercorn syrup
- ½ oz heavy cream
- ½ oz lemon juice
- ½ oz lime juice
- ¼ oz rosewater
- 1 egg white
- Club soda, chilled, to top
- Mint, for garnishing
Preparation
- Combine the gin, lemon juice, lime juice, syrup, heavy cream, rosewater, and egg white in a shaker without ice. Shake for 30 seconds.
- Add ice to shaker and shake for another 30 seconds. Strain into a tall, chilled glass (a Collins glass works well) and top up with soda. A fine foam should float to the top with the addition of the soda.
