Corse on the Rocks

Sometimes the simplest of cocktails can be just the right thing to round out a busy day. For us, this often means leaning into a beautiful aromatized wine like the Cap Corse Quinquina. Served on the rocks and intentionally garnished.

Ingredients

  • 3 oz Cap Corse Quinquina Blanc
  • 1 spring of oregano
  • 1 lemon twist

Preparation

  1. Combine ice and quinquina in a glass.
  2. After cutting your lemon twist, puncture one end with a toothpick and slide the stem of the oregano into the whole, wrapping the lemon rind around the herb. Add to the glass.
Additional variant: For a stronger and more varied cocktail, reduce the quinquina to 2oz and add 1oz of a floral gin in its place. Stir with a spoon before garnishing.
