Yuzu Margarita
Kelly AllenIn this bright, delicate approach to the margarita, we swap the lime juice and agave syrup for NON's Toasted Cinnamon & Yuzu zero-proof wine. Instead of orange liqueur, we keep the yuzu theme with Ferrand's Dry Curaçao Yuzu Liqueur. The effect is light and elegant, lacking nothing in power, but presenting with a little more reserve.
Ingredients
- 2 oz tequila joven (we used Siempre Spirits)
- 1½ oz NON Toasted Cinnamon & Yuzu
- 1 oz Pierre Ferrand Dry Curaçao Yuzu Liqueur (if you can't find the yuzu, Ferrand's Dry Curaçao Orange Liqueur is a fine, if somewhat brawnier, replacement)
- Salt, for the glass
Preparation

Rim the lip of a rocks glass with salt. Set aside.
- Combine the tequila, NON Yuzu, and the Yuzu Liqueur in a shaker over ice. Stir to combine.
- Strain into the prepared glass over ice. Serve as is, or with a lime wedge, if you'd like.
