Sweet Potato Hot Toddy

Our Equinox Sweet Potato Gentiane brings breadth and richness to the classic hot toddy.  Combined with oloroso sherry and an honeyed pear syrup, it makes for a comforting brew on chilly days. This is easily batched for a crowd, and can be kept warm indefinitely in a crockpot or large, covered pot set over low heat. 
 

Ingredients:

      Preparation

      1.  Combine the Equinox, oloroso, syrup, cointreau, water, and lemon juice in a saucepan.  Heat until steaming but not boiling. 
      2. Pour into a heat-safe mug and drop the lemon rind in.  Enjoy hot.
