Sweet Potato-Grapefruit Margarita

Think sweet potatoes are just for autumn?  Think again.  They're a natural pairing with tequila and grapefruit juice.  We use Mommenpop Makrut Limepop to complete the picture, but a blend of fresh lime juice and simple syrup would work just as well in a pinch.

Preparation

  1. Dip the lip of a rocks glass into a shallow dish of water.  Follow with a dip into a shallow dish of salt.  Drop a block of ice into the glass and set aside. 
  2. In a shaker over ice, combine the tequila, grapefruit juice, Equinox, and Limepop.  Shake until very cold. 
  3. Strain into the prepared glass.  Serve with lime wedges on the side, if desired.
