Good ole' fashioned homemade boozy eggnog works best for this recipe. Store-bought eggnog seldom has the necessary fat content to stand up to spirits and is prone to curdling as a result. Best to build the alcohol right in. Our Quercus bitters bring out just the right amount of depth and spice.
Ingredients
- 4 oz Aged Eggnog
- 1/4 oz St. Elizabeth Allspice Dram
- 1 dash Quercus Oak Bitters
- Grated nutmeg or cinnamon, to serve
Preparation
- Combine the eggnog, allspice dram, and bitters in a shaker with ice and shake until frothy.
- Strain into a mug or rocks glass and garnish with the nutmeg or cinnamon.
