Caffè Corretto is an Italian cocktail made with espresso and a small amount of either spirits or liqueur. In this variation, coffee liqueur adds body and a little sweetness, while the bitterness of the fernet and the espresso bring welcome lightness to the close of a meal.
- 1½ oz espresso (chilled)
- ¾ oz coffee liqueur
- ½ oz Fernet-Branca
- ¼ oz simple syrup
Combine chilled espresso, coffee liqueur, Fernet-Branca, and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake and strain into a chilled rocks glass or into small sherry glasses.
