Vej
Andrew NapierThis is a lighter, more playful take on a Boulevardier. The Muri adds tannin and a floral, berry-laden structure without alcohol, while the rye and vermouth keep things feeling classic.
The name Vej means is Danish for a large street or thoroughfare...a fitting nod to the original.
Ingredients
- 1 oz rye whisjet
- 1 oz sweet vermouth with notable bitterness (we used Atxa Rojo Vermouth)
- 1 oz Muri "Fade to Black" Non-Alcoholic Sparkling Red
Preparation
-
Combine the rye, vermouth, and Muri in a shaker over ice. Stir until very cold.
- Strain into a rocks glass over ice. No garnish.
