Kupela

This cocktail takes its name from the large old oak barrels used to age Basque cider. Especially savory, this cocktail is very food-friendly; in particular it would pair nicely with some aged goat or sheep cheese.

    Preparation

    1. Combine the cider, bourbon, and vermouth in a shaker over ice and stir to combine.  
    2. Pour into a rocks glass over a large ice cube and garnish with the apple slice.
