Classic simplicity. Garlic scapes add fresh, mellow garlic flavor, while parsley keeps everything fresh and balanced. A perfect patty for the grill.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 tbsp parsley, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp minced garlic scapes (or cloves)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ½ tsp freshly ground black pepper
- ½ tsp celery seed
- ½ tsp dill
- ¾ tsp Worcestershire sauce
- salt to taste
Preparation
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Add all ingredients to a large bowl and mix by hand. Make sure to incorporate all the herbs & spices evenly throughout the beef.
- Separate into four equal sections and then form into patties. We recommend getting these patties pretty thin and wide as they will condense on the heat of the grill.
- Grill for 2-4 minutes per side (2 minutes should yield about medium, and 4 yield well done).
- Remove the burgers promptly from the grill, and let stand for 2-3 minutes before serving.
