
Thistle and Rye
Kelly AllenAn equal parts cocktail in the shape of a Negroni, but with a very different flavor profile. A gentler, more subdued rye is best here. Too brawny, and it will overpower the cocktail.
Ingredients
- 1 oz Artemisia Thistle
- 1 oz Cocchi Aperitivo Americano Bianco
- 1 oz Rye
- Lemon rind, for garnish
Preparation

In a shaker over ice, combine the Thistle, Cocchi, and the Rye. Stir to combine.
- Strain into a rocks glass over 1 large ice cube. Express the oils of the lemon rind over the glass and gently rub the rind around the lip. Garnish with the rind and serve.
