Following the inspiration behind his table wines, Ignasi Segui's vermouth is a single-vintage, single-variety, minimal intervention example of vermouth. Taking inspiration from local flora, his vermouth tracks in the tradition of so many Basque and northern Spanish vermouths: intense, herbal, savory, and absolutely stunning in a cocktail.

About Vinyes Singulars
In the north-eastern region of Penedès, Ignasi Segui produces a limited selection of honest wines, working with with local Penedès varieties for Cava: Macabeo, Xarel.lo, Parelleda and more recently Garnacha Blanca, Sumoll and Malvasia de Sitges. The focus is clearly on healthy soil, using the terroir in the most sustainable, natural way possible . His winemaking philosophy is one of minimal intervention, allowing the wines to express themselves as clearly as possible. Vinyes Singulars is a certified organic project. They started in 2011, though their vines have been in the Segui family since 1405. Much of the 120 hectares of the estate are forested, but is also a fully functional farm consisting of an orchard, olives, almendro trees and vegetables.
