Troddenvale's Grower's Series focuses on single orchard sites. In this case, the fruit is a mixture of apple and pear trees. Those identified include Virginia Winesap, Grimes Golden, Russets, Northern Spy, and Kieffer Pear. Some remain a mystery. The trees here aren't maintained to modern standard, meaning no pruning nor spraying. The fruit that survives is incredibly distinct and concentrated.
Fermented and bottled via traditional method, without SO₂. A textural and full-bodied cider.
