An intensely sweet, red wine made from Moschato Mavro, or the "Black Muscat" grape, this old-school dessert wine was traditionally sought out by the Greek Orthodox clergy as a communion wine.  Don't let it's virginal roots scare you!  It's concentrated sugars and bright fruit are a surprising companion behind the bar.  It also happens to be minimal-intervention, owing to its hefty sugar content.  The concentrated sweetness offers a level of protection against a host of interested microbes.

Use as you might a port or a berry syrup on the bar, or lightly chill and sip after dinner with a bite of dark chocolate for an certified divine indulgence.
