Raína's Grechetto leads with orange zest, apricot, and rockmelon on the nose, with a distinct minerality and a zesty, medium-bodied palate. It's herbal and just a hair tannic, making it an excellent wine for all manner of food. It's particularly great with baked cod, seared scallops, zippy salads, or pork loin.

About Cantina Raína
Raina is managed by winemaker Francesco Mariani. The name "Raina" was the nickname of the previous owner of the field where Francesco planted his first Sagrantino vines. A nod to the lineage of the land. Francesco is wholeheartedly dedicated to preserving the microcosm within which he crafts his wines. A nod to the lineage of the land. 70% of the winery electricity comes from solar panels, while the remaining 30% comes from hydroelectricity. They've been certified biodynamic since 2012, as well as certified organic. Everything from pruning to crushing to harvest is done by hand. Their red wines enter the bottle unfiltered, and their sparkling vintages have no sulfur added.
