Quinta Dos Grilos Dão Red Blend Reserva 2018

The Dão is one of the oldest established wine regions in Portugal, located just south of the Douro Valley. The Dão viticultural region is in the north of the country, taking its name from the Dão river, along which the majority of the region's vineyards are located. The high elevation (between 500-1500 meters above sea level) allows for stark diurnal shifts. The resulting wines reach full ripeness thanks to hot daytime temperatures, while maintaining their acidity due to the cooling nighttime influence.
