Orange Pie pumpkins are smaller and sweeter than carving pumpkins. More closely related to the early pioneer pumpkin, they were traditionally baked while and filled with a sweetened blend of milk and honey. Baked into a pie, they offer a deep orange blush of color and rustic sweetness.
