Pasubio Vino Amaro
Producer: Giuseppe Cappelletti
Region: Trentino-Alto Adige, Italy
Pasubio is a true taste of the Dolomites of Trentino. One of the earliest Italian aromatized wines, Pasubio is genre of Vino-Amari, or wine-based Amaro. It follows tradition with its botanical infusion based in Marsala rather than spirits. The botanical blend is one of northern blueberries, pine, and bitter alpine herbs. The original recipe dates back to the early 20th century, making it one of the earliest recorded Erboristeria’s (herbalist's) amari.
