A single-vineyard gamay from Portico Hills in Los Alamos. The grapes were cold soaked for five days before undergoing spontaneous fermentation.  Aged in neutral French oak barrels and sulfured minimally before bottling.

This is a modern, approachable gamay, meant to be drunk young.  Think light-bodied, with aromatics of peony, and cherry and raspberry on the palate.

Mr. Brightside was established by Tim Fulnecky in 2020 and is owned and operated by Tim Fulnecky on the Central Coast of California. The winery was founded with a singular focus-crafting great wines made from Gamay Noir. Since 2016, we have produced 15 different wines made exclusively from Gamay Noir. Every vintage offers us different challenges and opportunities to craft unique wines and try new things.
