The wines of Valpolicella run the gamut. From lean and herbaceous to dense and rich, their profile depends largely on their treatment in the cellar. Their Le Quare is a little bit of both. Aged in stainless steel, it retains a freshness and brightness often overlooked in the region. It's fruit, however, is ripe and concentrated, leaving it not lean but almost opulent.

About Gamba Gnirega
The Gamba Gnirega farm, owned by the brothers Giovanni, Giuseppe and Martino Aldrighetti, has dedicated itself for generations, with great passion and competence, to the cultivation of grape varieties native to the Veneto region. Located in the heart of Valpolicella, Gamba has over 6-hectares of vineyards, all terraced along the ocean, 300 meters above sea level. “Gamba” is a traditional family nickname. It means "leg" and refers how tall the family is and how long their legs must be to make them so tall.
