Vignobles J. Mourat was created in 1974 by the Mourat family.  It comprised of 27 hectares of vineyards and managed by Jérémie Mourat.  All of the wines produced by J. Mourat are Organically cultivated and Lutte Raisonée, leading with and intention that goes well beyond certification.

Resting only 20 kilometers from the Atlantic ocean, their wines are dominated by a combination of southern exposure, sea breeze, and a primarily volcanic (rhyolites) soil, yielding wines with intense aromatics, brisk salinity, and bracing character.
