About Bodegas Viña Ijalba
Dionisio Ruiz planted his first vine in 1975. He established his first vineyard on an old gravel pit designed to reproduced the natural conditions in which vines grow in La Rioja. And so began a pioneering road. Viña Ijalba, founded in 1991, was one of the first wineries to go fully organic in Rioja. Since their inception, they've continued to produce accessibly-priced, high quality wines in the traditional Spanish style.
