Bosinakis' Moschofilero is a classic example traditionally fermented Moschofilero. One of many white grapes native to Greece, Moschofilero is perhaps of the most aromatic. While typically pressed directly from its pinkish skins and fermented into a dry table wine, it's also widely used to make late-harvest dessert wines.
Expect plenty of spice and perfume on the nose and melon, peach, and rose on the palate.
About Bosinakis
About Bosinakis
Bosinakis Winery first opened their doors in 1992. Siblings Katerina and Sotiris Bosinakis lead the winery operations, specializing in the native Moschofilero grape. The winery itself is located in Steno, a peaceful village in the Mantinia appellation of the Peloponnese. Here, the high-altitude and clay-rich soils are ideal for grape cultivation. The resulting wines have a balance of bracing acidity and full ripeness.
